This poem was nominated for best poem of 2005, written by an African child:
When I born, I black.
When I grow up, I black.
When I go in sun, I black.
When I scared, I black.
When I sick, I black.
and When I die, I still black.
and You white fella..
When you born, you Pink.
When you grow up, you White.
When you go in sun, you Red.
When you cold, you Blue.
When you scared, you Yellow.
When you sick, you Green.
and When you die, you Gray..
and You calling me COLORED ??

HOPE
HOPE
Breathing fragrance in the morning sunshine
Assuming presence, the prismatic beeline
The enriched charms sanctifying my heart
The gripping meadows, ripping the silence apart
Leaping the breathtaking melodies of nature
With alluring shadows over my still stature
Enjoying the moods,
I walk into the sun
From a gloomy night to a radiant run

Hiroshima and Nagasaki
Hiroshima & Nagasaki
On the sixth and ninthAugust of forty five,
Brutality broke
All barricades in such a way
Dead were severely dead
And equally dead who were alive.
Whatever the motive, whoever the culprit
Behind the tragedy that have no end,
So intense was the impact ofTwo "bad boys"
That not only the twin cities
But humanity was at receiving end.
To learn from the mistakes
Is one of the qualities of mankind.
Let's makes mandatory for all
To take contraceptives of goodwill
Which produce only the babies of friendship
And not "little" or "fat" boys of worse kind.
My heart weeps for Pearl harbor but It goes for Hiroshima & Nagasaki.
"Little & fat boys" were code name for two nuclear bombs which Americans dropped on twin cities.
